Edwin J. O'Malley Jr. was born in Kearny, New Jersey in 1934. He is a graduate of Tufts University and Fordham University Law School, and has been an attorney since 1963. For the past thirty-eight years, he has been the attorney for the Borough of Mantoloking.

Mr. O'Malley is a member of the American, New Jersey, and Ocean County bar associations, the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
